ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Emily.
I'm a Chicago-based actor originally from Kansas City, working primarily in classical theatre, with a nose for devising and developing new works.
I play women who are articulate, competent, and a little intimidating. Queens. Trusted advisors. Older sisters. They're used to being the smartest person in the room – and they’re usually the funniest. The authority of Michelle Dockery, the dry wit of Rose Byrne, and the emotional volatility of Sarah Snook.

Jerry Christ
Mother Mary | KC Fringe Festival
Emily is currently appearing as Mother Mary in Jerry Christ, an irreverent new comedy imagining the forgotten brother of Jesus. Following a sold-out performance and a Best of Venue award at the 2026 KC Fringe Festival, the production received an additional encore performance on July 26.
"The real stars of this show are the Marys, Emily Michelle Walton (Mother) and Grace Enochs (Magdalene)... They perfectly balanced believable, realistic interactions in a campy environment."
— Jamie Lin Pratt, KC Fringe Review
